Little Black Cloud

The wheels loosened on the 2019 bus this fall. It seemed to begin with the infamous oil change where my transmission fluid was drained instead of oil. The bad luck continued from there. A weekly installment of it. Nothing horrible. Just inconvenient. Or expensive. Or both.

Today, I was working in our living room with the gas fireplace on when the glass inexplicably shattered. It was as if it gave way on itself. Shards of glass tumbled to the floor and inside of the fireplace as well. I tried to call the guy who serviced the fireplace on the 23rd. His voicemail was full. I swept up the glass and then emailed him.

I think I should smudge myself tomorrow in an effort to get rid of this persistent black cloud. Or something.
